You can safely say it’s been an eventful week for New England Revolution Academy goalkeeper Max Weinstein (Montpelier, Vt.).
Last Sunday, the 18-year-old keeper made his professional debut for Revolution II and made five saves in a 2-0 loss to Toronto FC II. The 6-foot-1 Weinstein was solid in defeat, keeping his side in a tightly-contested match.
Clearly, he impressed the people who matter most, because three days after becoming the 22nd Revolution Academy player to make their pro debut with the Revolution II, Weinstein spent Wednesday training with the Revolution’s first team.
