Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: A forward from New England has verbally committed to Colgate University.
Class of 2022 standout Colin Hughes (Charlton, Mass.) recently decided on the Patriot League side, setting up a Division I future for the NEFC and Worcester Academy attacker.
Hughes follows in the footsteps of Colgate sophomores Aidan Davock (Medway, Mass.) and Adam Fam (Dover, Mass.), as well as incoming freshmen Tim Donovan (Litchfield, Conn.) and Alejandro Coury (Yarmouth, Maine). Davock and Fam both spent their club careers with NEFC, while Coury was a postgraduate student at Worcester Academy during the muted 2020 campaign (COVID-19 pandemic).
