When Vermont went on its upset-filled run to capture the NCAA Division 1 National Championship in December, Sheridan McNish (Dorchester, Mass.) watched closely and was impressed by what he saw.
The biggest takeaway for the Revolution Academy center back was Vermont’s relentless play style, one that featured high work rates and nonstop energy from everyone on the field. Now, McNish will be a part of the Catamounts’ culture that has helped them become a premier Division 1 program.
The Class of 2026 prospect verbally committed to Vermont on July 21. McNish believes the reigning national champions are a perfect fit for him since he’s a player who prides himself on hustle and energy.
