Six weeks into the Class of 2022 recruiting timeline, Yale has secured a verbal commitment from Oakwood captain and center back Logan Jacobs (Avon, Conn.).
It’s a big addition for the Ivy League program, as Jacobs weighed interest from numerous other Division I programs across the country. We also previously highlighted her as one of the region's top defenders in the rising junior class.
As celebratory as this moment is, the 16-year-old stressed to New England Soccer Journal that it’s only the beginning.
