Earlier this winter, Jack Burgess (Hampton, N.H.) was planning to reclassify into the Class of 2022.
But plans have changed, and now the Seacoast United and Phillips Exeter midfielder is joining the local-heavy Class of 2021 at Boston College.
The about-face gives first-year head coach Bob Thompson another promising piece for their project, possibly as a deep-lying or box-to-box midfielder.
