They say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
For Phillips Andover and FC Stars Class of 2026 forward Wylie Roossien (Nahant, Mass.), that saying could not be more true.
Coming from a family of collegiate athletes, Roossien understood the uphill battle she faced when looking to take her game to the next level. Her hard work paid off as this fall she committed to the University of North Carolina, of the mighty ACC.
"The whole recruiting process is exciting. I could not be more thrilled to be a part of such an exciting program (UNC) that has such an incredible history," Roosien said. "I'm over-the-moon excited and very grateful for this opportunity."
