One of New England’s top uncommitted Class of 2021 players has a college soccer home, with Loomis Chaffee senior defender Eamon Moylan (West Hartford, Conn.) verbally committing to Davidson earlier this week.
Davidson is part of the Atlantic 10, a conference that the University of Rhode Island has won in back-to-back years.
Moylan’s decision isn’t late in the normal recruiting process – the NEPSAC season would only be a month old right now – but the broader landscape amid the COVID-19 pandemic led to some pressure.
