Connor DeAngelis (Somers, Conn.) knew pretty quickly that Lafayette College was the right spot for him at the next level.
"They brought me down to campus, the coach brought me around and I fell in love with the campus," said DeAngelis. "Then I sat down with (head) coach (Dennis) Bohn and I knew there was nowhere else I wanted to go."
The Class of 2022 midfielder, who features for Black Rock FC as part of the residential academy at Northwood School, recently committed to Division 1 Lafayette, which plays in the Patriot League and is located in Easton, Pa. DeAngelis will join a Leopards program that went 7-7-3 in 2021.
