As the Division 2 college soccer season comes to a close this weekend, last Saturday marked the final match for any of the region's dozen programs.
While a national title won't return to New England this fall, it was still a memorable season with Assumption, Franklin Pierce and Post all enjoying NCAA tournament runs. There was also a new complexion to the Northeast-10 Conference, since Merrimack officially moved up to Division 1.
To take stock of it all, we've ranked the region's top teams one last time. We've sorted them as No. 1 through No. 8, with the remaining four on the bubble.
