Which players were the best of the best?
New England Soccer Journal sought to answer that exact question for the 2021 NEPSAC girls soccer season, one that ended with Buckingham Browne & Nichols, Suffield Academy, Brewster Academy and Lexington Christian Academy capturing NEPSAC championships last month.
Selecting a Best XI in New England is never an easy task, not with the staggering amount of talent this region features each and every year in the prep circuit. Still, we took a shot at selecting a squad.
The Best XI is organized in a 3-4-3 formation. To account for the NEPSAC’s depth of talent, an honorable mention section is also included.
