In Class A, last season ended with Berkshire outclassing Worcester Academy in the final, and there’s no reason to think either of those two programs will take a step back. Berkshire (18-1) heads into battle with its third coach in three seasons, but the goals are unchanged for a loaded program that’s won four of the past five Class A NEPSAC championships.
Charlie Bour, who previously enjoyed success at Loomis-Chaffee, takes over a team that graduated a collection of talent but doesn’t figure to miss a beat.
"Returning and incoming players will constitute a different style than last year, but we’re incredibly talented on both sides of the ball," Bour said.
The leadership will come from senior defender Ahria Simons, a Bermuda U-20 national team player, and holding center mid Mohamed Omar, who doubles as the student body president. Both players are drawing Division 1 interest.
