The postseason is right around the corner for the 23 Division 1 women's soccer programs in New England, and nearly two-thirds of the teams figure to feature prominently.
Northeastern has made some inroads in the Colonial Athletic Association, while UMass made strides in the Atlantic 10 and Hartford has remained solid in America East.
Don't go forgetting about Central Connecticut State and Bryant in the Northeast Conference, either. Or the three-horse race in the Ivy League between Brown, Harvard and Yale.
