On Monday, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) released its initial round of power rankings for boys and girls soccer in the state.
The top 32 teams in each sport, as well as teams with a .500 record or better, will qualify for the state tournament later this fall.
Every team in each division was given an overall rating score based on what they have accomplished through games on Sept. 29.
Here is the top five for each division for both boys and girls, complete with team record and rating score.
