The Houston Dynamo are one of the most historic clubs in Major League Soccer, with two MLS Cups and U.S. Open Cup in the coffer.
As part of Houston's residency program, a New England native has enjoyed great success and could one day sign as a Homegrown Player. Jalen Anderson, a Hamden, Conn., native, joined the Dynamo in residency for the 2017-18 season and hasn't looked back.
Anderson, 18, leads Houston's U-19 team with nine goals as they sit midtable in the Frontier Division. It's one of the harder brackets in the Development Academy, as it features fellow MLS clubs FC Dallas, Sporting Kansas City and Colorado Rapids.
