The group of New England natives in the NWSL is comparatively small, but their impact can sometimes be profound.
That's something McKenzie Meehan (Glocester, R.I.) has learned, especially this year in being traded from Sky Blue FC to the North Carolina Courage.
We caught up with the former La Salle Academy and Boston College star to chat about that and more as part of our September 2019 magazine. Meehan, a longtime U.S. youth international, was also a two-time Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year (2010, '11) and played club soccer for Scorpions.
