The University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team is 90 minutes away from its third straight America East title, beating Hartford 2-0 on Thursday afternoon during a semifinal match in Durham, N.H.
The Wildcats (7-0-1) were paced by two goals from senior forward Victor Menudier on either side of halftime, giving them another threat after fellow French attacker Paul Mayer was held off the scoresheet.
New Hampshire, ranked No. 10 nationally, reached this stage and hosting rights by topping Pod A, while the Hawks (3-3-1) led Pod B and entered the postseason on a small slump.
