Overtime thrillers, last-second goals (literally) and a No. 1 seed exiting early highlighted the quarterfinal rounds of the NEPSAC Class A and Class B girls soccer tournaments on Wednesday.
With a massive floodlight on the weekend.
There is one Class A semifinal that’s a rematch of last year’s championship game (Miss Porter’s vs. Worcester Academy), a BB&N team back in the semis thanks to an Aubrielle Amaral golazo in OT, and an all-ISL semifinal in Class B featuring two teams who went on the road and got their jobs done in very different fashion (St. George’s vs. Brooks).
Our takeaways from a wild NEPSAC quarterfinal Wednesday.
