The New England prep school girls soccer season is underway, if just barely.
A week of off-and-on rain postponed some early matchups, and delayed some teams playing their long-anticipated first games of the 2023 campaign.
But some teams got a chance to make early statements, including one that emerged on top in a battle between two of last year’s NEPSAC champions.
