The biggest game of the year in the Independent School League is right over the next hill.
The league’s two unbeaten heavyweights -- Buckingham Browne & Nichols (11-0) and Thayer Academy (11-0-1) -- are set to meet on Friday afternoon in Braintree, Mass. The winner will almost certainly lock up the ISL title, and both teams will be seeded high for the NEPSAC Class A playoffs, which begin in two weeks.
In the Founders League, the last big matchup will be played Saturday, when first-place Miss Porter’s visits top contender Choate, another matchup with league title implications.
How do those teams stack up in our final power rankings before the postseason? Let’s check out our Top 10, which features two new teams.
