There will be no four-peat.
On a quarterfinal Wednesday in the NEPSAC girls soccer playoffs that was largely agreeable for the higher seeds, the highest seed of them all -- Buckingham Browne & Nichols -- got bounced.
Eighth-seeded Worcester Academy turned around a 1-0 halftime deficit to earn a watershed win -- and snap BB&N’s string of three straight Class A titles.
That was the biggest takeaway from the quarterfinals, but certainly not the only one. Let’s have a look back, and ahead to Saturday’s semifinals.
