In its first season as a Class B program, the Dexter Southfield girls soccer team advanced to the NEPSAC Class B quarterfinals last fall.
The team finished with a record and 10-4-2, after the playoff loss to Pingree. In years prior, head coach Lauren Jenkins' team had been highly successful in Class C, having made the playoffs each year from 2016-19.
Leading the way was senior midfielder Mallory Lucas, a Penn commit who has been on the national radar for years. But there were also a group of underclassmen who emerged as key players, including a talented trio in the Class of 2023 who are currently uncommitted to a college program.
