The eight teams for the NEPSAC Class B boys soccer tournament have been selected.
One thing is certain: we will have a new champion this year.
Last year’s champ, Brooks, failed to qualify for the tourney. However, the field does include four other Independent School League programs, including top-seeded Rivers.
As is the case every year in Class B, the competition figures to be fierce. Every team in the playoffs has reason to believe it can hoist the trophy on Sunday. But first, they need to win their quarterfinal match on Wednesday.
