For a variety of factors -- being overlooked, being undervalued, and sometimes, being undersized.
For Brooks' junior goalkeeper Zach Amato, his motivation comes from the latter. But that does not hold him back or prevent him from making plays in big moments.
The 5-foot-11 netminder is one of the best at his position in the Independent School League and New England prep soccer. He already has a Class B championship (2022) under his belt, as he backstopped the program to a crown as a sophomore.
