The New England Premiership is doing away with its six individual State Cups and instead will start a new platform called the New England Regional Cup for the Spring 2021 club soccer season.
The Regional Cup, which supplements league games, is a single-game elimination competition for boys and girls across the U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18/19 age groups.
The champion from each group will advance to the US Club Soccer’s National Cup XX Finals in Commerce City, Colo., from July 16-20. In all, a dozen teams from New England will emerge as champions, whittling down the field from years past.
