Last weekend, MLS NEXT teams across New England returned to the field to resume the 2023-24 season.
Now a few months removed from the fall portion of the schedule, which led up to the annual MLS NEXT Fest showcase in early-December, sides are eager to make a playoff push before the postseason arrives in June.
"We’re excited to get going," said Boston Bolts MLS NEXT Director Sean Napier. "I think clubs like IFA New England have a lot of private school kids getting back to the team, pretty sure NEFC has a lot of private school kids as well. I just think once you get that fall season over and then wrap up the winter, everyone is ready to go."
