IFA New England, part of Juventus Academy Boston, announced this week that it has been granted expansion both within MLS NEXT and the Northeast Academy League.
In addition to its existing U-13 and U-14 teams, as of the 2022-23 season IFA New England will compete with a U-16 and U-19 MLS NEXT team, after being granted two additional age brackets.
"We are thrilled to continue to build out our program," said IFA New England MLS NEXT Program Director Andy Dorman. "Our goal is to provide our players with the strongest development platform possible, and this expansion enables exactly that. This is a massive step in our goal to develop quality professional players for both the MLS and leagues abroad, and I look forward to working with all of our incoming players."
