Earlier this week, New England clubs punched their tickets to next month’s MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs in Nashville, Tenn.
MLS NEXT Flex wrapped up on Tuesday. The annual five-day competition was held at Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md., and served as a qualifying competition for the 2024 MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs.
The U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-19 age groups each had 64 teams battling to clinch a position in the postseason with their performance, as the top seed in each of the 16 groups of four teams clinched a spot in the season-culminating MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs.
