BOYDS, Md. -- The next list of standouts from MLS Next Flex are the U-16 players.
We’re less than a month away from the recruiting period opening for this group, so MLS Next Flex was a prime opportunity for colleges to get a good look at the best Class of 2027 New England players.
The U-16 age group had three teams (IFA New England, NEFC, New England Revolution) play at MLS Next Flex. Although all three teams failed to win their group, several U-16 players stood out against top competition at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
IFA played against two professional academies (Real Salt Lake, New York Red Bulls). NEFC battled the LA Galaxy, and the Revolution continued their tough schedule.
