Junior forward Emily Burnham led the Wellesley (Mass.) High girls’ soccer team in scoring each of the last two years.
Asked about her personal expectations for this season, and Burnham kept it simple.
"Just scoring as many goals as possible to help my team," Burnham said.
She’s already living up to that with five goals through four games for the Raiders (4-0), who were No. 5 in our latest MIAA rankings. But there is nothing simple about Burnham’s game.
