The MIAA tournaments continue.
After a wild stretch of days filled with penalty kicks, upsets and more, the home stretch is in sight. The quarterfinals in Divisions 1-5 will begin on Wednesday, and state champions will be crowned a week from Saturday.
One thing you can always count on during this time of year is that the postseason is never short on drama. That's especially true in Division 1, where there will be a new champion crowned after No. 14 Hopkinton upset No. 3 Wellesley in penalty kicks.
Elsewhere in D1, No. 10 Concord-Carlisle also came through with an upset, knocking off No. 7 Winchester, while No. 2 Bishop Feehan narrowly avoided an upset against No. 31 Cambridge. In D3, No. 25 Tewksbury's Cinderella run has taken them to the Round of 8 after upsetting No. 8 Belchertown and taking down No. 24 Martha's Vineyard.
