Amid the helter-skelter nature of a jam-packed college soccer season, it's sometimes easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. That's especially the case in New England, where there are over 20 Division 1 programs, eight Division 3 conferences call the region home and several top-notch Division 2 programs are within local bounds.
But in taking a bird's-eye view across New England's college soccer landscape, some more granular details emerge. In fact, on a national level, the region is home to some of college soccer's top players – at least from a statistical perspective.
