Ever since Brandeis began its women’s soccer program in 1980, one ever-constant was Denise Dallamora on the sidelines as head coach.
But the Judges will have a new look in 2020 as Dallamora steps down after 40 years at the helm and assistant coach Mary Shimko takes over the University Athletic Association side.
Shimko, part of Dallamora’s staff since 2017 and a two-year captain for Brandeis, was almost speechless when asked about leading her alma mater.
