The 2023 New England prep school season is less than four months away, and it’s never too early to look ahead.
The Lakes Region is a perennially competitive girls soccer league, within the NEPSAC, that has produced New England champions in recent years, such as Brewster Academy in Class C (2021, 2022) and Vermont Academy in Class D (2019).
In that spirit, we took this offseason opportunity to survey the Lakes Region girls coaches on a handful of questions: Who is the top returning field player in the Lakes Region in 2023? Who is the top returning goalkeeper in the Lakes Region in 2023? Who is a coach in the league you admire? Who is the hardest team to prepare for? Where is your favorite place to play in the league as a visiting team?
