Kate Howarth’s game is soccer, of course, but she’s also pretty good at the waiting game.
When she made her debut with the Orlando Pride in late September, it came seven years after her last National Women’s Soccer League game with the now-defunct Boston Breakers.
“It’s an opportunity I’ve been yearning for for a long time,” Howarth, 29, said. “It felt good running out on the field the other day.”
