When Juventus Academy Boston launched in May 2018, the club operated just five teams. Now, as the stones get laid for the 2020-21 season, club president Bill Altieri estimates that they’ll have roughly 70 teams.
That rapid growth across 25 months reflects New England's changing club soccer landscape, one where New England Surf is another emerging piece in an ever-crowded marketplace.
However, don’t expect Juventus Academy Boston, one of nine such programs for the Serie A club across North America, to get too big.
