The Division 2 men’s soccer ranks, across the country, are largely dominated by foreigners. Such a trend, however doesn’t deter top domestic players from finding their way onto D2 teams and making a serious impact.
Mindful of that, New England Soccer Journal has broken down the Top 10 New Englanders to watch in D2 come the 2018 season.
Many didn’t play in the Development Academy or progress through other such elite pathways, instead relying on strong high school and local club careers to make a name for themselves. Further, many play in the Northeast 10, which is arguably the best D2 conference in men’s soccer.
