The Jefferson Cup, regarded as one of the top youth soccer tournaments in the country, will hold its annual Girls Showcase this weekend.
The prestigious national event will feature the age groups of U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-19, competing over three days from Friday-Sunday at various sprawling venues in the area of Richmond, Va.
In past years, the Jefferson Cup has accepted over 1,600 teams from across the country, while turning down an average of over 500 teams per year. There’s also certain to be hundreds of college coaches in attendance to scout the talent.
Each age group is separated into numerous divisions. Here’s a look at which New England clubs will be competing and when they’ll play their openers:
