When Isaac Angking (Providence, R.I.) logged 75 minutes this past weekend, it marked his first bit of professional action since the Concacaf U-20 Championship in November 2018.
But the experience didn’t come with the New England Revolution, the MLS club he signed for as a Homegrown Player two Januarys ago.
Rather, it was in a 3-3 draw at Loudoun United, with the left-footed midfielder on loan for the Charlotte Independence. The USL Championship side is coached Mike Jeffries (Lynn, Mass.).
