But these aren’t normal times, Connecticut FC ECNL/NPL co-director Matt Micros acknowledged, referencing the screeching halt COVID-19 has prompted for youth soccer in New England.
So, like other clubs across the country, Connecticut FC has turned to technology to keep players engaged. Techne Futbol is their app of choice, a platform developed by former U.S. women’s national team player Yael Averbuch that focuses on soccer ball mastery at home.
