If anyone around Harvard women’s soccer is looking to get head coach Chris Hamblin an early holiday present, a pair of noise-canceling headphones might do the trick.
As successful as the Crimson have been in 2021, and as much talent (and international-level players) as they’ve stockpiled this fall in Cambridge, Mass., Hamblin’s deadset on avoiding the buzz.
Their rise up the national rankings? The projection of being an NCAA tournament team? Visions of another Ivy League title, which would be a conference-record 14th? Zone it out, turn down the volume dial and just enjoy the ride.
