High school soccer is nearly back across New England, as teams wrap up their preseason preparations and gear up for their first games of the 2019 season.
Ahead of then, New England Soccer Journal has its preview of the region's high school landscape. Check out details within for capsules of what to watch for across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
There hundreds of high school programs around the region, with many top players suiting up for prominent club programs in the winter and spring. As the season gets underway, newcomers and breakout stars are both bound to emerge.
