The Class of 2021 recruiting world ticks on, with the University of Hartford landing verbal commitments last week from two Connecticut-based attacking players.
The Hawks, after making the America East championship game in 2019, have received word from FSA FC winger Justin Rivas (West Hartford, Conn.) and AJAX Premier forward/midfielder Pat Gryczewski (Plainville, Conn.).
Both hailed the confidence shown by Tom Poitras, with Hartford’s longtime head coach at the helm since 2011. He’s experienced highs and lows, with last year’s 12-5-4 record snapping a four-year skid of losing campaigns.
