I heard you were the Fire’s good-luck charm. (Chicago went 6-0-0 with four shutouts in the first six matches when Cleveland made the matchday squad). Do you bring some secret luck or something? (Laughing) "I wish I could say so. And then I’d be worth a lot more than I am right now. … I bring a lot of energy to the bench. I’m not sure it plays a role on the field at all. It could be complete happenstance, which it probably is. But it’s pretty great to say we’re undefeated when I’m in the 18."
It’s a great way to start your pro career. And you have a great viewpoint to watch your teammates take care of business."Absolutely. When you’re not 18, you’re still going to see the game, whether you’re watching on TV or in the suite. But if you’re on the bench, it’s so much more intense. You go through the emotions of the game much more. Even though you’re not within the lines of the pitch, you’re so into the energy of the team more than otherwise."
