The girls’ Development Academy is starting to find firmer footing in its third year of operation, and Oakwood SC continues to trend in a positive direction.
That’s at least the message academy director Matt Cameron hit home about the club from Glastonbury, Conn., which sees its U-15 and U-19 teams in first place of the Northeast Division at the 2019-20 season’s midway point.
Strong results at the Winter Showcase against teams from California and other traditional stronghold areas? They’re becoming far more common, and Cameron points to the training ground for credit.
