Three teams from New England-based clubs will look to claim championships this week at the Girls Academy National Finals at Lou Fusz Athletic Complex in St. Louis, Mo.
The eight best teams from the U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17 age groups will compete in the last event of the 2022-23 season. The competition begins on Thursday with quarterfinals in each age group. Friday will play host to semifinals in each age group, as well as consolation games. Age group finals and additional consolation games will be played on Sunday.
All attending teams will play three games.
Leading the way is South Shore Select, which has teams remaining in U-14 and U-17. Meanwhile, fellow Massachusetts-based club NEFC will also compete for the crown in U-17.
