The 2025 New England prep school season is a little more than two months away, and it’s never too early to look ahead.
That’s particularly true in the mighty Founders League, where programs undoubtedly already have their sights set on getting to the top of the standings and into the NEPSAC playoffs this coming fall. In 2024, three Founders League sides qualified for the NEPSAC playoffs, with Taft taking home the Class A championship, and all three advancing to the Class A semifinals.
In that spirit, we took this offseason opportunity to survey the Founders League boys coaches on a handful of questions: Who is the top returning field player in the Founders in 2025? Who is the top returning goalkeeper in the Founders in 2025? Who is a coach in the league you admire? Who is a team on the rise in 2025? What is the toughest road trip in the league?
