On Wednesday, the ECNL announced the acceptance of the AC Connecticut girls program into the ECNL Regional League Northeast Division for the 2025-26 season.
This comes just weeks after AC Connecticut's boys program was promoted in ECNL.
The league provided AC Conneticut with clear guidelines and objectives to obtain full-time ECNL status for the girls program as early as the 2026-27 season.
"We’re absolutely thrilled to take this next step with our girls program and are grateful to the ECNL for giving us the opportunity to continue to develop our teams, via their best-in-business platform," said AC Connecticut Girls Director Barry O’Reilly. "This is a testament to our past players and coaches, who have helped raise the level of our teams, but also a huge opportunity for our current and future players to develop in the ECNL Regional League, knowing there is a clear path to promotion to the ECNL."
