FC Stars Blue U-17 players in action at ECNL Phoenix. (FC Stars)
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The ECNL Girls’ Phoenix showcase provided players with a golden opportunity to display their skills in front of hundreds of college coaches.
Several forwards at the U-17 age level impressed over the three-day event that was held from April 4-6 with sunny skies and warm Arizona temps. That includes players from the New England clubs that made the trip out west to face some of the best teams in the country.
I was there as well, watching as much of the action as I could, and will be unveiling New England standouts from each position over the next several days. Yesterday, we kicked things off by highlighting U-16 forwards.
