LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- We’re two weeks removed from the ECNL Girls’ Florida winter showcase held Jan. 11-13 at the Premier Sports Complex.
But the standouts are still rolling along. Next up are the Class of 2027 defenders. These four New England players shined on the back line for their respective teams, displaying instincts, tactical skills and the ability to stop opposing runs.
I enjoy analyzing defenders because their impact on a match can be subtle yet important. However, these four players jumped off the page immediately by making plays for their teams behind an intriguing blend of athleticism and versatility.
