
This past spring, on the league front, was especially busy for NEFC. It joined MLS NEXT at the U-13 and U-14 age groups after the Development Academy ceased operations, and switched its top high school-aged boys teams from the New England Premiership to the Boys ECNL.
Despite the comings and goings, NEFC's quality remains. The club routinely sends players off to solid college programs throughout the Northeast, drawing players from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
So, we're taking stock of NEFC's U-15 through U-18/19 teams as they prepare for their inaugural Boys ECNL season. They're expected to be competitive right away, with games set to begin Dec. 12.
